The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) is a national,
non-profit membership organization of approximately 7,000 members which
fosters the art of musical liturgy.  The members of NPM serve the Catholic
Church in the United States as musicians, clergy, liturgists, and other
leaders of prayer.

NPM is seeking a temporary employee through August 2011.  Duties include
processing membership and convention registrations in Paradox database,
reconciling deposits, and assisting members by phone and email.  Some
database experience is nice but not required.  Solid typing skills of 40 wpm
or more needed.  Good organizational skills and strict attention to detail
are essential.

The friendly, collaborative team of eight works in a comfortable office
located in Silver Spring, two blocks from the Silver Spring Metro Station on
the Red Line.  The position is open immediately at 20-30 hours per week
(flexible within the work week of 9-5, Monday through Friday) and increases
to 40 hours per week May-August at a rate of $13 per hour.
