Interfaith Picnic

Do you have plans for the evening of Saturday, July 24th (4 - 7 pm)?  Why not join other families from our College Park faith communities, and enjoy the outdoors at a summer community BBQ picnic!

The picnic will be held from 4 - 7 pm at Acredale Community Park (4300 Metzerott Road).  The park is near the intersection of Rt. 1 and 193 (Greenbelt Rd.).

Meet faith community leaders and let us cook hamburgers and hot dogs for you and your family!  The picnic will feature fun for the whole family, with face- painting and activities for youth courtesy of the College Park Arts Exchange.

Food will be provided, courtesy of the Faith Community Network of College Park and other community partners, including the Greenbelt Co-op.  All are welcome.  Please bring a dish to share (salad, dessert, pasta, fruit).

This event is organized by representatives from University United Methodist Church, College Park Methodist Church, the Dar us Salaam community, St.

Andrews Episcopal Church, Hope Lutheran Church, College Park Church of the Nazarene and other members of the Faith Community Network of College Park, a new community organization composed of College Park faith community leaders from on-campus and off.

To RSVP for your family, please contact Rev. Jim Vigen, Pastor, Hope Lutheran Church.  Phone: 301.927.5508.  Email: pastor@hopecp.org.  (RSVP is encouraged but not required.)
